There are other interesting stuff related to the politics and the economics of the war.<\/p>\n<p>There is also a profile of <a href=\"http:\/\/economist.com\/people\/displayStory.cfm?story_id=1559905\">Hernando de Soto<\/a>, author of &#8220;The Mystery of Capital &#8211; Why capitalism triumps in the west and fails everywhere else&#8221; (read <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cypherpunk.blogspot.com\/2003_01_26_cypherpunk_archive.html#88100434\">excerpt<\/a> here found via the <a href = \"http:\/\/www.realwomenonline.com\/article.php?story=20030130231324463\">Bharatiya Blog Mela<\/a> &#8211; I am growing to like the name!). He set up the &#8220;Other Path&#8221; in Peru, which is supposed   to have turned poor Peruvians against &#8220;The Shining Path&#8221; terrorist group.
