Coincidentally, just yesterday, I finished reading <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&amp;location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FQuicksilver-Baroque-Cycle-Vol-1%2Fdp%2F0060593083%3Fie%3DUTF8%26s%3Dbooks%26qid%3D1196230533%26sr%3D8-1&amp;tag=theexaminedli-20&amp;linkCode=ur2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325\">Quicksilver<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" border=\"0\" width=\"1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=theexaminedli-20&amp;l=ur2&amp;o=1\" height=\"1\" style=\"margin: 0px; border: medium none\" \/>, a historical fiction that features the Royal Society prominently. Quicksilver is actually book 1 of a three-part novel named <em>The Baroque Cycle, <\/em>by Neal Stephenson. I&#8217;ve had the books for over two years and only now have I\u00a0 been able to devote enough time to read them. The story is extremely difficult to follow because of the interplay between fact and fiction and because of the complexity of its ideas.
