Many people thought that I was doing a satire when I wrote my entry on The Secularism of Sardars. I thought so too. But it turns out that I was wrong. It seems that a judge in Colorado threw out a conviction because the jurors were influenced by Bible verses when they decided on the sentence.

I appreciate the judges’ view on this. The Bible (or any religious book) is by no means something to be consulted while handing out a court-decision, when someones life depends on it
