Since we have been talking of gender differences, here is some more. Every year we see headlines like “Girls outshine boys” in CBSE/ICSE/State board results. The basis for the headline is that the pass percentage is better among girls than among boys. Can you tell me the real reason for the gap?
Hint: It involves discrimination against girls. Also, ignore the gap mentioned for CBSE results in the linked article. That is most probably not statistically significant. Usually the gap in state board exams is much higher – and that is another hint.
I myself being a female woulden”t support boys or either girls………… i feel both have a important position and dignity in the urban society. As discussed above it is only the rural people think that girls should not be educated, should be married and are hindered against all the basic rights. This is injustice as per the citizenship of our country……….. it may even depend on your intelluctual levels and your genes, because if your parents possese a brilliant IQ then you too might be a topper.
As BOYS, have a lot of other works on the way.. we are not that much concentrated into studies. And the main reason why girls are coming first is that we are giving respect as the words say “First Ladies… Next…”…!
