A good time was had by all

To my surprise, I check my comments and learn that there is atleast one person who does not know what happened at the MMRBM. Which means of course, that one of my readers reads me but not India Uncut! What’s wrong with you?

Coming back to the meet, others have written about it. For example, Mandar who put his weight behind the meet and turned up all the way from Ambernath has written about it in great detail, including the parts I missed. Anthony has written about it and has an incriminating photograph. Shantanu has written about it too, so I don’t really have to. Unfortunately, there was no sting operation, but I kept telling everyone that I was one of the elite bloggers, just in case…

Other than the lack of sting operations, I think that the meet was a grand success both by my standards (we got more than the Delhi Bloggers Meet got) and by Amit’s (“At least one girl has turned up at every meet till now”).

Speaking of the latter criterion….
Those who read my blog religiously would know that in my announcement I had made a joke about “hot-looking Gujju females”* and in a later post I had made fun of journalists. So two girls land up at the meet, and naturally one of them was a Gujju female and the other is a journalist# . Out of idle curiousity, I ask them how they came to know about the meet; did they read the announcement by any chance? It turns out that they hadn’t, and they had heard about it from someone else.

I have no hesitation in declaring the meet a grand success.

* Amit kept asking me every 5 minutes where the hot-looking Gujju babes were, and I had to remind him that they were all around him.
# Much to our disappointment, she claimed that she wasn’t there for a sting operation and that she had never stinged an operation in her life. But we all kept smiling at her cell-phone just in case it contained a hidden camera.
