So I disappear without an explanation and the only hints that I continue to exist are two words of wisdom that I unload on fellow Cartelians,
([1], [2]) both discussing the question of human sanity. I know that this is sufficient reason for people to get worried, but fear not. I am very much here, and rejoice! for I shall be back to blogging soon. The fog of illogic and insanity that the Indian blogosphere seems to be falling into shall soon dispell and clear thinking shall reign again. And yes, all the questions shall be answered.

Interestingly, classical philosophers from Plato to Adi Shankaracharya felt that the common man who grapples with metaphysics and other such philosophical issues is wont to suffer insanity; they felt such doctrines should be esoteric, and simplified forms such as Big Man in the Sky is there to Protect You, should be what the common man should think about.
Assuming the blogosphere is predominantly comprised of the common man, and that it foolishly refuses to restrict itself to common issues, insanity is but a natural corollary.
Frued differed from the classical philosophers in that he believed that simplified philosophies are a RESULT, or at the very least symptoms, of insanity (or neuroses). I suspect this is where you’re coming from too.
The ‘sphere welcomes your return, Oh holy one…
What a pompous ass!
When you exercise your Victorian English language skills (not to mention your giant ego) you may want to note that dispel is spelt with only one L, unless you want to use another conjugation such as “dispelled” for instance. It is also a transitive verb that necessarily takes an object. You have not only converted an intransitive verb into a transitive one but also twisted a potentially perfect object – the fog of blah blah, into a grotesque subject.
With apologies for my ugly swipe…

Ravikiran,
I’m sincerely sorry I dashed off that needlessly sarcastic comment. Totally uncalled for. I apologize. Please delete it if you can. Thanks

Thanks for pointing out the error. I should have said “shall soon be dispelled” right?
Yes.
Lal Salaam !
