The token female in Fourth Umpire, I mean. She seems an improvement over Mandira Bedi – at least in that she keeps her trap shut most of the time. But who is she?

Roshni Chopra – that’s her name. She often sounds smarter and definitely more tolerable than Srikanth(who decides to double the torture by speaking in Hindi) or Mohinder Amarnath (who the other day decided to do an impromptu rendition of Sare Jahan se Accha when India won at Edens).
The Fourth Umpire on DD / Extraa Innings on Sony sucks bigtime. I don’t undestand the logic of fielding “Also Ran” type cricketers for commentry. Charu Sharma *ugh*, Shrikant *ugh* and a new bimbette everytime
No one can compare to Star’s commentry team.My idea while watching matches on Non-Star channels is to mute the sound, and also switch channel immediately with the commentry team tries to show their smiling faces
Dont know, dont care. As they say, ignorance is bliss, so, I must be euphoric. For me, the best part of DD coverage was the Hindi commentary. It was funny to have Maninder, et al. giving their commentary watching television in the studios. They had no idea of where the fielders were, and everytime Sehwag hit the ball in the air…poor mani had no idea if it was a four, a six or had Sehwag holed out!! C’mon DD, get Mani and team to the stadium too…its the taxpayers money after all!!
Curiosly I see that she is trying to be a Mandira in her dressing.
Some other blogger agrees. Check this out….

Seriously!!! I simply don’t understand the need of such stupid programmes, where they keep changing what they say…
It is the most irritating part when watching cricket on DD.
