When it comes to the NREGA or reservations, resistance from the existing order is a sign of why the measure is needed. When it comes to market forces, resistance from the existing order elicits the question “What market forces?”

youve really let the fellow get under you skin, no? right after the time of that stupid bluberterian article? also it really bothers you that he never rises to your bait?
He does.
Ravi,
.
Making a serious attempt to get offended, I had out of that post stuff like maybe ” libertarians dont know even the spelling of their concepts (ingest != in jest) and take stands based on such erroneous interpretations that make them look very silly ” but it was difficult to really pull this out though thru all the blubber.
.
I dont know if there’s any other history but that was very broad and generic right? For contrast, Abi’s rejoinder to you on regulating higher Ed. was a far sharper and direct attack.
.
Other than the resemblance to the question you got asked there is nothing in there at you personally? You should consider letting it go.

Jai
Ravi,
Please don’t listen to Jai, what is life without little malice.
Ayyo!
I can honestly say that that particular post has nothing to do with why I bait Dilip D’Souza. I do so only because it makes me happy and because I sincerely believe that my baiting is a service to society and ultimately makes the world a better place. I cannot get angry at that post any more than I can get angry at a five-year old boy trying to mock me by sticking his tongue out. Throughout my blogging life, there has been only one instance when I got angry and hurt, and neither Dilip nor Abi, nor any famous blogger was responsible for that.
SlaveEmp, here you are. Done.
Previous commenter, nope.
That is interesting. When I saw the comment by “SlaveEmp” there, I wondered what it was setting up for.
.
One possibility was that you wanted to ostentatiously ignore that comment, thereby proving once and for all that Dilip D’Souza does not rise to baits just as the US does not negotiate with terrorists.
.
The other one was that you just had to make some response, and of course, because you don’t actually read my blog and you needed someone to inform you of this post.
.
You managed to surprise me by combining both options – you commented here *and* ostentatiously refused to respond.
Be nice to each other, children.
Dilip does not talk much about the economy or markets these days. With a left, liberal, secular alliance in power at least for the next few months, the economy is doing fine. This post says it all:

BTW Dilip has not even written a word on how during record inflation, the govt is blubbering about the nuclear deal.
Dilip Bhai
Any more wisdom from your ganne ka rasvala – or as a commentator asked- is he out of business?
Man! What is this stuff with “previous comment”, I saw it back there around that blubber-train too.

Agree with Gaurav, these are grown-ups giving in to some kiddish schoolyard fighting.
.
While I’d have liked it if they could sit around a table and sort it out kind of mature-like, since they wont, I have no option but to join Gaurav, get on the sidelines and watch the fun 🙂
